Sarasota County Sheriff's Office Elevates Inmates Safety Standards

Sarasota County Adopts OverWatch™ System to Boost Safety and Security for Inmates and Staff.

SARASOTA, Fla. (Dec. 16, 2024) - 4Sight Labs has announced the deployment of its OverWatch™ system at the Sarasota County Jail. Utilizing sensors and cutting-edge technology, OverWatch™ detects potential safety risks and health emergencies, enabling swift response by facility staff. This innovative solution represents 4Sight Labs’ commitment to leveraging technology for safer correctional facilities.

Sarasota County is now the third facility in Florida to implement the OverWatch™ system, demonstrating leadership in advancing inmate safety standards.

The facility began using 50 devices on Oct. 29, 2024.
